What does it take for a team to perform exceptionally when faced with significant pressure and adversity? How do you unleash a team’s full potential? The Teamwork at The Edge® program explores what it takes for a team to perform at The Edge - the highest possible levels of performance under conditions of adversity and change.

Teamwork at The Edge^® helps leaders and teams to learn and apply Ten Strategies for Success that have been proven to be highly effective in achieving successful results in the most extreme and challenging situations.

Each program is customized around the client’s requirements. Program length can vary from half-day, to full-day or multi-day versions. Advance data gathering - in the form of interviews with team members - is often used to help inform the program design.
While content can also vary according to client needs and objectives, Syncretics’ Metaventure^® approach to learning serves as the foundation each program. The Teamwork at The Edge® program often draws on the AFR Midnight Rambler Metaventure^®, which uses the compelling story of the AFR Midnight Rambler crew and the extraordinary teamwork and performance they sustained in winning the 1998 Sydney to Hobart sailing race.
In addition, depending on client requirements, the program may include:

Exercises and discussions targeted at understanding the issues and challenges related to team performance;
Concept application exercises, including “experiential learning” if appropriate to the program objectives;
Action planning activities – for individuals and/or existing teams;
Follow-up activities to sustain program impact and results.
