Syncretics Goes to The Edge…“Down Under”
Syncretics CEO Dennis Perkins successfully completed the 2006 running of the famed Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. His boat – Getaway Sailing’s Volvo 60, named the Dragon – had quite the eventful ride, with winds at times reaching 30 knots, and waves at times peaking at 5 meters plus. Dennis and his team finished 13th overall, out of 69 boats that finished the race.
