With the world becoming “flatter”, and increasingly more complex, the ability for senior teams to work together effectively is paramount. As organizations maneuver towards an uncertain future, a company’s success depends on the senior team’s ability to make decisions, generate ideas, manage conflict, solve problems, and innovate. With so much at stake, it’s surprising that many organizations do not invest more in enhancing senior team effectiveness. Syncretics helps leadership teams unlock their full potential. As organizational psychologists, we have the knowledge and experience to help teams explore and debate issues, and solve problems. Our approach to Leadership Team Development uses proven techniques of assessment and thematic analysis to identify the challenges and opportunities of team performance. These areas often reflect both interpersonal and team dynamics. Through a series of working sessions, we help the team understand the issues, work through them, and commit to new behaviors and actions. Leadership Team Development engagements can last from two months to a year, depending on what needs to be accomplished and the ability of the team to master new solutions. We often find our team development work paired with organizational change assignments, such as developing a vision or committing to a set of strategic priorities. This pairing is useful because it allows the team development work to take place in the context of a critical organizational activity. |
